Please join us for what promises to be a very fun evening of books, wine and cheese hosted by the Oakmont of West Las Vegas.

11 authors will be signing and selling their books to raise money for Alzheimer’s Nevada. Guests will be treated to a cheese and wine tasting for a nominal cost of $5.00 – which will also be donated to Alzheimer’s Nevada. There will also be a ‘split the pot’ 50-50 raffle.

The participating authors (apart from myself)  are Cheryn Brewer (100 Things Journal), Gail Curtis (Visions from the Edge),Scott Decker (Recounting the Anthrax Attacks – Terror, The Amerithrax Task Force and the Evolution of Forensics in the FBI), CJ Foxx (Friday Bloody Friday), Bernita Glenn (Behind Every Dark Cloud – A Caregiver’s Heart), Nancy Nelson ( Blue.River.Apple….an Exploration of Alzheimer’s Through Poetry), Lori Piotrowski (Revolutionary Spirit),Brian Rouff  (The House Always Wins), Heather Silvio (Not Quite Famous) and Rena Winters (Treasure of LaDura by Robert Cawley).

Each author will give a two minute presentation on their book before the signing. All authors are donating a percentage of the sale of their books  to the cause.

Albert D. Chavez, EdS CFLE, CEO of Alzheimer’s Nevada will also be on hand and will tell us all about his all volunteer non-profit organization.
